Question : OID's and Linksys
I recenlty bought a network monitopring software that works by setting off alarms when SNMP values go over certain thresholds. I have installed it, and pointed it at a linksys router we have onsite. I turned on SNMP on the router (Linksys BEFSX41) and set the public and private strings to public and private. The monitoring software says it connects t the device, but I dont get any data out of it. It appears that in the monitoring software I have to tell ti which specific OIDs to watch and set alert levels based off the values of certainOIDs I specify.
So the problem is I can't seem to find a listing of OIDs for linksysy routers anywhere?!? I found a MIB file for linksys products from another post and downloaded it, but I cant seem to tell what the OIDs are in the file. Does anyone know where I can find a list of OIDs for a linksys (BEFSX41 and BEFSR41) router?!?!
Answer : OID's and Linksys
It does not look like your models have OID/MID info available:
You might request such from here, although they may not make it available.

You might search here:

Here is an example for the Linksys STackPro:
If your SNMP management software requires a MIB file, you can get the StackPro II SNMP Module MIB file here.
