Dear Experts
My comapny requires a secure VPN connection to be established before logging into the Terminal Server. The VPN client I am using is called "Check Point VPN-1 Secure Client". I can make this work through dial up but not using my adsl connection. It just times out. My equipment is : Netcomm NB 1300 with latest firmware and Wreless router :Netcomm NB5540. The modem is in full bridge mode and I will include the settings in the router here:
Firewall Option: Advanced Firewall Protection: Disable Port Scan and DOS Protection: Disable Web Filter Proxy: Allow Java: Allow ActiveX: Allow Cookie: Allow
Device admin settings:
Administrator Password Password Change: Password Confirm: SNMP Function Disable SNMP Community 1: Read-Only SNMP Community 2: Read-Write SNMP Community 3: Read-Only SNMP Community 4: Read-Only
WAN Mac Change: .....(original: 00-60-64-04-BA-7A) External Admin.: Enable Port: 8080 MTU: Enable Size: 1492 Block WAN ping response: Enable IPSec Pass Through: Enable PPTP Pass Through: Enable PPPoE Pass Through: Enable Remote Upgrade: Disable Reset Device: No Factory Defaults: No
Please help me with this I am seriously going nuts.
Any help is greately appreciated.
