Question : Scheduled NTBACKUP could not start!

Hi!

I am running a daily scheduled unattended backups on tapes. It was working fine, until recently, and it is giving the following error in the log.

"Monday Backup.job" (NTBACKUP.EXE) 4/15/2002 5:00:00 AM ** ERROR **
The attempt to retrieve account information for the specified task failed; therefore, the task did not run. Either an error occurred, or no account information existed for the task.
     The specific error is:
0x8004130f: No account information could be found in the Task Scheduler security database for the task indicated.

It is windows 2000 advanced server. I searched everywhere on the web, but couldnt find an exact solution to this problem. If anyone has previously encountered to this, I will appreciate it a lot if he/she tells me about it...

Thanks.

Answer : Scheduled NTBACKUP could not start!

Delete the scheduled task that is giving out the error and redo the schedule. Apparently, you've deleted an account which the task scheduler uses to log on to run that particular task. When you schedule a job, and when it asks you to type in the credentials for the useraccount, make sure the account exists in the security database (or active directory) and make sure you typed in the correct password.
