Question : New Domain in Existing Forest.

I am trying to add new domain in existing forest but when i tried to run dcpromo it gave me a message that "This computer is already an Active Directory domain controller, you can use this wizard to remove active directory", and when i clicked next its giving me a message that "This domain controller is the last domain controller in the domain".So i am not sure how to add it, right now i have a domain name as ec3global.local,  i want to add another domain Qtic.local, both of them will share all the resources across, so do i have install another forest or i can add Qtic.local in existing domain.

Answer : New Domain in Existing Forest.

Yes you can add the another win2003 server as a additional domain controller over a existing domain controller network menas on different pc not on the same pc.so you this server you can use as a backup domain controler if first server having any mainataince problems.
