Hello,
I continue to get the following error in Event viewer for only one user.
Source: NETLOGON
Event ID: 5513
The computer "computer name" tried to connect to the server "server name" using the trust relationship established by the "domain name" domain. However, the computer lost the correct security identifier (SID) when the domain was reconfgured. Reestablish the trust relationship.
This user has an XP machine. Our server was rebuilt about three weeks ago which is part of the reason why this has happened. To fix this on other XP machines I have gone through the process of removing them from the domain putting them in a workgroup and then re-adding them to the domain. The only problem with this is that XP creates a new profile when you do this and it takes a while on some machines to get this straightened out.
Is there an easier way to fix this error without having to go through all of that?
