Question : how to remove unknown/rouge domains and workgroups from the browser list

We have a few unknown/rouge domains and workgroup names appeared in our organization's "Network
Neighborhood - Microsoft Windows Network" browser list.

I know these domains and workgroups are no longer connected on our netwrok, does anyone know how I can clean up this list, the "net view /domain" list.  I prefer to see just our Domain in this list.

We are running Windows 2003.

Answer : how to remove unknown/rouge domains and workgroups from the browser list

It is a master browser issue, (well sort of):
The master browser is responsible for populating Network Neighborhood. However the Master Browser can use WINS records, LMHost records, or Netbios datagrams/broadcasts to populate this list.

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windowsnt/4/server/reskit/en-us/net/chptr3.mspx?mfr=true

Though this is an NT4 article on the master browser.

If you want just your domain to appear, change from using WINS to populate your list to Netbios. It sounds like the WINS/WAN configuration is exactly what you are running and you have stale WINS or LMHOST records.
