Question : driver for linksys etherfast card wont install

I am trying to install a linksys etherfast card under NT 4.0. After installing driver and rebooting I receive a Driver not installed message and the event viewer says it is the lnetx100.

I checked NT hardware compatibility list and it showed a blurb under NT that I took to mean it was compatible.

What can I do to resolve this?

I know the card is good because it works fine under 95.

Answer : driver for linksys etherfast card wont install

There is no RIGHT IRQ and I/O address BUT you must set NT and the card to the SAME ones.  NT doesn't have PNP capabilities so it won't find the card if it's looking in the wrong place.  The card should have come with some sort of configuration utility or has jumpers.  Either set it or check it's settings and setup the address in the Network Control Panel to match.
