Question : MSN. com email account

I have a client that has an old MSN.com email account but he forgot his password.  When we try to recover it, we keep on getting an error message that "MSN.com" is part of a priviledged domain.  Or we keep on getting directed to hotmail.com.  He never set up a Windows Live ID which I think is part of the problem.  Does anybody know how to reset the password so he can access his emial online?

Figured out what happened.  As of Sept. 1, MSN/Hotmail stopped using HTTP as an e-mail server and moved everything over to POP3.  So, I reconfigured everything to POP3 and its all good.
