Question : Move an SSL certificate with non-exportable private key?
I'm trying to move an SSL certificate from one IIS6 server to another. I've done this many times in the past and never had a problem, but this particular server has a cheap certificate from GoDaddy. When I try to export the certificate, it says the private key is non-exportable.
I've tried both through the directory security tab in IIS and through the Certificates snap-in for the MMC but neither one works. Are these certificates from GoDaddy essentially locked to a single server once installed?
