Question : Remote Desktop Web Connection problems

I'm having trouble getting to my work terminal server using remote desktop web connection. When I try to connect, it brings up the ActiveX install window asking me if I want to install the Microsoft Remote Desktop Web Connection activex component, but when I click Yes, it looks like it's doing something, but then just shows me a blank IE window with "Done but with errors on page" showing in the bottom left.

Looking in Downloaded Program Files shows no RDP client file, so it looks like it's not actually installing. I've also tried installing the client from Add/Remove Windows components, but it still doesn't work !

Other people can connect to the same terminal server using RDP web connection through IE, just not me !

I'd really appreciate any help !

Specs: Windows XP Professional SP2
Kerio Personal Firewall (this is a requirement for connection to our corporate network)
AVG
Sun Java 1.50

Answer : Remote Desktop Web Connection problems

Usually that error is the result of a Java Script Error...  You might try uninstalling the MS VM and installing Sun's Version of Java...

Also, here is an MS article on troubleshooting that error:
