Question : there is not enough free disk space when copying to a network drive

when copying data to a network drive i get the following message pop up "there is not enough free disk space delete 1 or more files....."
there is space available at the destination drive

Answer : there is not enough free disk space when copying to a network drive

I suspect you have quotas enabled.  From the network workstation, map a drive to the network path and tell us how much space that drive has when viewed from the network workstation - on the server it will tell you how much space is actually free, but if you have a quota, the workstation will tell you how much space is left in the quota.
