Question : cisco vpn connects but cannot access resources
Ok, this is a weird one that I cannot figure out. I am able to connect to another company's Cisco VPN Gateway (PIX) with the VPN client and can access all the internal resources/servers when using my Verizon Aircard for Internet access. So all is good here....
Now, when I disconnect the Aircard and plug into my office LAN, I can still connect to the same company's VPN Gateway (PIX), however, I can't access any resources/servers.
What is going on? I didn't make any changes or anything? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Answer : cisco vpn connects but cannot access resources
It's likely both locations are on the same subnet...if your Office LAN is 192.168.1.x and the remote office is also 192.168.1.x you will not be able to access the resources on most machines.
