Question : Cannot log onto BIOS as a SUPERVISOR or ADMINISTRATOR only as a USER?

I have recently obtained a notebook it is an:  ALIENWARE Notebook, the model is:  Area 51M    D900TBAT-12, this notebook has a parallel port, NO FLOPPY DRIVE and Dual IDE Hard Drives.

I want to install a new Operating System but whenever I try to adjust the BOOT SETTINGS to BOOT from a CD it automatically logs me in as a USER and WILL NOT ALLOW me to change to a SUPERVISOR/ADMINISTRATOR so I can change the BOOT SEQUENCE!  HELP!  Need to fix this and get it up and running, bought it as a gift for a young gamer!

Alienware's support pages don't list a method for doing this, so you may need to contact them directly.  Here's how:

http://support.alienware.com/Profile/Login.aspx?p_sid=HSR-tqVi&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MjAmcF9wcm9kcz0mcF9jYXRzPTAmcF9wdj0mcF9jdj0mcF9zZWFyY2hfdHlwZT1hbnN3ZXJzLnNlYXJjaF9mbmwmcF9zY2ZfY19sYW5ndWFnZT0yMDUmcF9wYWdlPTImcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD1yZXNldCBjbW9z&p_li=&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_next_page=ask.php
 - there is a phone number here too.

Alienware's support has an excellent reputation, I'm sure they can help.
