Question : Checkout into existing project missing projects

I use eclipse with the cvs functionality very often.  I like to checkout by viewing the CVS Repository perspective, navigating to a folder, right clicking and choosing Check Out As...  Then I select Check out into an existing project.  Unfortunately my project has disappeared from the list of available projects to checkout into.  In fact my list is now empty!  It is empty even for all 3 dropdown selections.  I would really like to have my project back in this list!

Answer : Checkout into existing project missing projects

The answer was that the local repo changed CVS connection strings so all the Root files were using a different format of connection even though it actually had the same host, username, etc.  Updating these (all these) to the same format connection string in Eclipse uses enabled me to checkout into this project.
