Question : Internet connection seems slower since I went wireless

I have a 1Gbps Fiber ops internet connection to my house (it's the same price as DSL here in Japan) and prior to the wireless set up I was able to connect at that speed.  Mostly I have it so when I'm downloading/uploading things I can still surf and play games with no trouble.  I USED to have to disable the network card and reenable it (when I restarted the computer) in order for it to connect at 1gbps tho.  Which I thought was strange but never cared since it worked.  One of my network cards (Marvell Yukon) has always worked but my other one from USR never has connected at 1gbps.

Well the problem is that since I started using the WRT300N I've NEVER been able to connect at 1gbps... I'm wondering if this router isn't designed for that speed or what?  I don't care that wirelessly it won't connect that fast... but my desktop connects wired and I would like to be able to use the bandwidth I'm paying for.

Answer : Internet connection seems slower since I went wireless

I'm not entirely sure what I did but I was able to get my connection to download better.  Was up to 300K the other night so.  I know I went in and set some QoS stuff up and deleted and reinstalled network cards but I don't know what really did it.  So thanks for the help guys.
