Question : WPA Security option not present on Win XP Tablet PC Edition PC

I have a client who purchased an Acer TravelMate C110 PC running Windows XP Tablet PC edition.

The unit has WiFi capability.

I was configuring the WiFi to access their local wireless network which uses WPA for security - however the options available on the new PC were WEP & None.

Can anyone offer any explanation as to why WPA would not be available? Does anyone know if it's possible to install this option?

Your best bet is WEP, since Acer C110 comes only with 802.11b, it will not support WPA.

If it had been a 802.11g or 802.11b/g card, then you could have WPA.
