Question : Can't administer inherited pix 501 router

I have inherited a cisco pix 501 router at a small office (< 10 users).  I try to login at the admin address and the page never loads.  Ive found same problem described before but didn't understand the resolution.  I don't have any of the documentation or registration paperwork for this device and no cisco experience. Unit has no floppy but I do have the light blue serial cable.  


What will I need to do to administer this router..... or should I just nix it and buy a cheap one.
