Question : Discover IP address from MAC

Hi

I have a MAC address but no IP address. This is for a little label printer that I've just plugged into my network. The network is DHCP enabled and I've checked both DHCP allocation tables for the MAC but it doesn't show. I've made a reservation for the MAC but it doesn't take it. I've pinged the subnet and tried "arp-a" on each DHCP server but the MAC is not in the output list.

I need a suggestion for how to continue - any ideas?
Thanks

Answer : Discover IP address from MAC

Connect a PC to it with a crossover cable and change the PC's address to the old range, then scan the subnet. Alternatively reset it to defaults - default IP address 192.168.254.254 or 198.102.102.254 according to http://www.zebra.com/id/zebra/na/en/documentlibrary/manuals/en/ZebraNet_PrintServer_II_Users_Guide.File.tmp/45537L-004rA_Final.pdf
