Question : Cannot disable email forwarding in Exchange 2003
|
|
Did anyone ever figure out how to stop this? An account in my company had mail forwarding turned on to a distro list and I disabled it a few days ago but the forwarding is still happening. In ADUC > Exchange General > Delivery Options all forwarding is disabled, I forced a sync of my servers to make sure there weren't any stragglers, I even deleted the address the distro list had and did an LDAP query to make sure it's gone. I have absolutely no idea as to why this forwarding is going on, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a bunch
Update: Okay, I added a forward to myself, tested and received the emails and then disabled the forward to myself. The forwarding to me stopped but the initial forwarding is still happening. I am completely confused.

A suggestion is to try opening the "forwarding" mailbox using the command line /cleanrules. If you still need other rules in that mailbox, export them first.
