Question : How to identify motherboard

I have a pentium III 600Mhz 256 Mb ram and i am trying to install win XP on it but it is always giving me the blue screen before starting to install. so i removed all parts not needed for the installation and got the same blkue screen or now it is worse as the computer sometimnes frezees.

So i am deciding to update the bios but i cannot identify the motherboard. I have a motherboard with no tags, stickers, labels etc on it and the only printed things i can see are only "2000 year compliance" and "AGP" on it. How can i know the motherboard manufacture or if you have ever meet something like this. can please anybody help me? Thanks

Answer : How to identify motherboard

Why don't you try PC Audit software, which would give the details of the Motherboard.

You can try BelArc (http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html)
