Question : Power Over Lan Routers Vs. Thicknet Coaxial Routers - Cost Comparison

Need to run a wire about a 1000 feet in a warehouse for a friend, wondering if its cheaper to buy multiple Power Over Lan routers to span the distance or get two 10base5 coaxial thicknet routers.  Not sure what's available out there in this area, but would like to keep the price reasonable.  What are my options?  Also does Power Over Lan equipment use standard UTP cable or is it specialized, and generally how much is 1/2 inch thincknet cable per foot?  If Power Over Lan is cheaper, need dependable routers that are pretty much gauranteed to not need resetting, would be a big hassle to reset routers mounted in the rafters.  Explored the idea of wireless, but my friend wants a land line.  Your comments are welcome and points will be divided appropriately.

Answer : Power Over Lan Routers Vs. Thicknet Coaxial Routers - Cost Comparison

The best solution would be to get 2 cat5 - fibre converters and run fibre across. thay way you get full 10/100 speed and can lay cable up to 120Km.
