Question : Starting BEA Weblogic Server remotely

When I start BEA-Weblogic server remotely,it shutsdown immediately with the following exception.
BEA-000388:JVM called WLS shutdown hook. The server will force shutdown now.
The host box is a HP-UX box.
I am attaching the domain log file for reference.

Answer : Starting BEA Weblogic Server remotely

weblogic.management.ManagementException:Unable to obtain file lok can be resolved by deleting .lok files specified in the path.

java.net.ConnectException can be resolved by passing arguments  as follows
startManagedWebLogic.sh name-of-managed-server address-of-admin-server

Example: startManagedWebLogic.sh managedServer http://localhost:7001
