Question : Shared network folder not showing all

I have a folder on the server that is shared with all computers, but its not showing all the files in the folder.  They are pdfs if that makes a difference, its a windows 2003 server.

Right click on the shared folder and click properties. do this from both the server and client. On the general tab, they should contain same number of files and folders.  

From the server, pick a file you CAN see from the client. Right click and choose properties. Make note of permissions, security, and if it's hidden or not.
Then from the server pick a file you CAN NOT see from the client. Make the same notes....

What's different?
