Question : CLIB.NLM error message (ArcServe)
|
|
Ever since a power outage the following message has been appearing: "CLIB.NLM verion 3.12g is a problem and recommends version 3.12h"
I think this is related to ArcServe but not 100% positive.
The NOS is Novell 3.12 running ArcServe 6.6 for Netware.
If anybody has any info on this please let me know. Month end is around the corner and need to make sure we get a complete backup.
Thanks in advance!!
Don't know the scale of the question so I am going to award 400 points. May be easy for somebody but its a tough question in my book!

Answer : CLIB.NLM error message (ArcServe)

try http://support.novell.com/servlet/tidfinder/2953957 for clib dated May 1999. Note that as arcserve still loads it will work the warning is informationial. Chances are it has always warned that but its the first time you have noted it. Arcserve has a setting which says don't stop on infomationial messages (assuming it is now stopping and waiting for input before it rolls on). I know that somewhere on http://support.ca.com is a doc on how to change that setting - but I can't find it right now. The CA site is not a easy one to search.
