Question : Error 623 from Dialup connections & networking.

My Dell Win2000 laptop keeps coming up with a Dialup Connections & Networking message

"    Cannot load dialog

     Error 623: The system could not find the phonebook entry for this connection.    "

Seems to have started since I installed a Bluetooth Adapter (Belkin).
I don't have any VPN connections which is mentioned in some newsgroup solutions.


How do I get rid of this pesky error message.... ??

Also if I disconnect the modem cable the system also asks me to dial an unused Dialup connection (not the last one used).
Win 2000 OS is at the latest patch revision level.

try something basic to start with. open internet explorer>click on Tools>then on Internet Options>andt hen on Connection tag, do you have any dialup connection listed there to dial on demand connections?
