Question : Wireless network connection must be repaired after every boot

i have an ibm thinkpad wth an Intel wireless wifilink 4965ag network adapter.  every time the computer boots the wireless connection gives me the limited or no connectivity warning.  when I check the network settings it does not list a DNS server.  when the connection is repaird by windows it finds the DNS server and the connection works fine.  this does not seem to work when i try to repair it manually by releasing and renewing the ip.  I have updated drivers with the newest from intel and have uninstalled and reinstalled it. any ideas?

Answer : Wireless network connection must be repaired after every boot

Have you tried to take out the WNIC and reset it? I would give that a shot and see if it make any difference. Also, if you have another WNIC that is compatible with your laptop could you try that and see if you get the same issue?

I have seen this with some of the WNIC's we have with our IBM Thinkpads and turned out to be a hardware issue with the card.

Hope this helps
