Question : How to restore Windows XP Pro original network settings

I was at friends workplace with my laptop yesterday and had to install an old version of microsoft proxy client to get on the internet there.
When I came home I had to uninstall it to use my own network. However, it seems as though the net is running much slower on this laptop as compared to any of the other machines. What I need to know is how to restore all the original Windows XP Pro network settings. I know there is a command line that does this, but I can't seem to find it.
