Question : Configure Linksys Router as Hub-only?

Is there a way to disable the routing (and switching?) features of a Linksys Cable/DSL Router so that it works only as a hub among the four LAN ports?

Yes, the client's Cat 6 patch cable is too short, but they have this BEFSR41 lying around and it seems to work, but the LAN already has a DSL connection through an ActionTEC box and they don't want to change that.

As near as I can tell, it's either configure the Linksys or go buy a dirt-cheap hub.

you can turn off the DHCP server, and it will function more like a hub.  I don't believe there is a way to make it like a hub though (flood all other ports when 1 port recieves data.  For your purposes, turning of DHCP should work fine
